This page illustrates how to be quick operative with the µNav Board.

µNav is shipped with standard firmware preloaded, available at Github as open source. Some software and hardware tools are required if you want to write your own code or edit the original firmware.

Source code of µNav is written using Microchip MPLAB® X IDE and compiled using MPLAB® XC16 compiler from Microchip®. Please see Links and Downloads (uNav) page for downloading required tools.

In order to uploading a new firmware, a programmer is required to be attached to ICSP connector of the board. Suitable programmers are: PICkit3 or ICD3.
